Over the past 5 years, I have tried several different brands of cloth diapers. And through this process, I have found some that I LOVE while others I don’t like as much.

All cloth diapers are NOT created equal. In fact, I have only found a handful that fit my baby properly and also hold up as far as absorbency.
Because of this, choosing the right cloth diaper can be a difficult task when you have no idea how each one will perform on your baby.

The best way I have determined whether or not to purchase a NEW cloth diaper has been through reviews from other cloth diapering moms.
This way you can see what other cloth diapering parents are saying about a cloth diaper before you fork over your hard earned money.

Cloth Diaper Mail

First of all, I have to tell you that when GroVia sent me the GroVia O.N.E.cloth diaper to review I was so excited! Every day, as the mailman delivered my mail, I would sprint down the hill to my mailbox. I am sure the neighbors thought I was absolutely nuts with how excited I was getting.

Finally, when the package came, I could not contain my enthusiasm. It was as if I received gold in the mail. If you are a cloth diapering mama you know what I mean. Getting cloth diapers in the mail is almost like winning the lottery. Crazy I know but cloth diapers can be extremely addictive so use CAUTION. Haha

*Although GroVia did send me this diaper free of charge to review, I will always give my HONEST opinion about the product. *This Post May Contain Affiliate Links

About the GroVia O.N.E.

GroVia came out with the O.N.E. diaper as a solution for parents who love the ease of Hook & Loop closure yet would later like to transition to a snap closure.

The GroVia O.N.E. Cloth diaper review. The One diaper you will ever need. GroVia ONE cloth diaper | All in One |

  • The GroVia O.N.E. is a One-Size Cloth Diaper. (A One-Size Cloth diaper is designed to grow with your baby by adjusting its size.) The GroVia O.N.E. states that it fits from birth to potty learning or from 10-35+lbs.
  • It is also an All-in-One cloth diaper that comes with two snap in soakers. (All-in-One or AIO diapers come as one piece together with all of the absorbent layers either sewn in or snapped into the waterproof outer).
  • The O.N.E. diaper has an outer cover that is made up of 100% Water Resistant Polyester TPU.
  • The absorbent soakers are made of 100% Cotton topped with 100% Polyester Microfleece.
  • Removable & Replaceable Hook & Loop. The Hook & Loop attachment can be easily unsnapped from the O.N.E. cloth diaper when you are ready to use snaps.
  • No Prep feature. The GroVia O.N.E. cloth diaper is already prepped and preshrunken before sent to you. This means you can put the diaper on your baby and use it immediately when you receive it. Most cloth diapers have to be prewashed one or more times to achieve absorbency.

I chose to get the Holland print of the GroVia O.N.E. This print is so adorable on my son. It came packaged in this very cute bag with a type of mesh backing. Along with the diaper was a starter guide with the care instructions, use, and fit of the diaper.

PERFORMANCE

Hook & Loop

The first time I put the GroVia O.N.E. cloth diaper on my son I decided to use the Hook & Loop feature. I noticed that the Hook & Loop is very easy to use and also extremely sturdy. The Hook & Loop strips also hold very well and secure. Although one inconvenience I noticed was as you grab the tab to take the diaper off, the Hook & Loop gets left behind on the strip.

Snaps

The second time I used the GroVia O.N.E. cloth diaper on my son, I tried it with the snap closure. The fit on my son was perfect without any problems. The snaps are also very sturdy and stay secured to the diaper.

One-Size

This diaper comes with a 3 step rise setting to allow you to adjust the rise to fit your baby. My son weighs around 22lbs and fits perfectly in the medium rise setting. I love that he has plenty of room to grow into.

Absorbency

The O.N.E. diaper fits him like a glove and has just the absorbency he needs most of all.

The diaper comes with 1 Large Soaker Pad and 1 Small Soaker Pad. The absorbent inserts are also customizable due to the interchangeable snaps.

My son has NOT had a leak in this diaper to date. The soakers, in my opinion, are very durable and also some of the most absorbent I have ever seen.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the GroVia O.N.E. diaper follows through with its promise to be extremely easy to use. I have had no problems getting a secure and comfortable fit on my son. With the Hook & Loop feature, it makes this diaper extremely versatile, especially for new cloth diapering parents.

For me personally, the snaps are easier to use because of the hook & loop detaching. However, in the newborn stage of diapering your baby, hook & loop is easier since you will be changing diapers almost every hour of the day and in the wee hours of the night.

I am also a HUGE fan of natural fibers such as cotton, bamboo, and hemp in cloth diapers. Therefore, this diaper gets a big thumbs up from me.

Finally, GroVia built the O.N.E. cloth diaper to last and be the only diaper you will ever need. I love the concept and think it will be an awesome choice for parents that are new to cloth diapering.
